Wine Protects the Heart

WineRecent research has uncovered the benefits that consumption of table wine brings to health. One is the Tannat, born in Uruguay, produced by a French grape variety, which are high in tannic acid, composed of glucose and phenolic acids, with antioxidant and astringent.

A glass of wine made from this grape, contains lots of antioxidants that prevent heart attacks by blocking free radicals which cause the deposition of cholesterol in the arteries, origin of such heart problems.

The antioxidant power of Tannat is due to the presence of polyphenols, which are ideal for longevity and a healthy heart. Reverastrol addition, a substance that rejuvenates the cells and minimizes the effects of aging.

For WHO, the 40% reduces reverastrol cardiovascular risk, is more effective than vitamin E and acts against free radicals to prevent oxidation of low density lipoproteins.

Moreover, it favors the production of nitric oxide that relaxes and dilates the arteries, reduces levels of triglycerides and cholesterol in the blood and blocks the formation of cancer cells in different states. (more…)

How asthma affects adults

• Stress

• Exercise

Asthma is caused by irritation or inflammation of the airways making them more narrow, when this happens it becomes harder to breathe and produce the symptoms of asthma. After an acute inflammation persists for days or even weeks without causing symptoms, is very important to see a doctor because they usually can cause sequelae. Asthma can progress slowly to a serious condition or may develop into a serious or even fatal attack within a few minutes. It’s always, always frightening when your child is sick and had to undergo a barrage of medical tests. Waiting for the definitive diagnosis is stressful. When the definitive diagnosis can be made a great surge of relief, or those parents can send in a tailspin of uncertainty. Here are 4 tips for parents who have just been thrown in there parents do not want to go.

1. First, take a step by step. You have certainly given more information than can be absorbed in a while, especially if the diagnosis is complicated. Ask questions. Get a second opinion if you feel in your heart that nothing should be done.

2. Not preclude the Internet immediately. What can you find may be general, it can scare the wits out of you, and may not apply to your child’s situation. The Internet has a wealth of good resources and should be used later, after having had time to absorb everything your doctor says and a treatment plan is established.

3. Keep your child as honestly as possible and appropriate for their age. If your child understands that he or she is sick, but painful treatments or tests are needed to do better, be more cooperative. Being there for comfort and support with this new experience. (more…)
